Competitor Keyword Analyzer

The HTML competitor keyword analyzer has been removed. The tool relied on a single server (this one) doing many requests against search engines (Yahoo, Bing, etc), which would have eventually caused suspicion and blocking.

However, I can tell you how to get the same results yourself, which will probably have you learning even more about your own page and similar competing pages.

Step 1 - Select a page on your own site to analyze. Then run my Keyword Analyzer tool against it. See what your top keywords really are for that page.

Step 2 - Take those keywords and search all of them at once in your favorite search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc). See what pages on sites other than yours are shown. These pages are your competitors for the keywords on your page. You might want to focus on pages that rank above your page for the same terms, as they are outperforming your page for this search

Step 3 - Select the page(s) returned in step 2 that you feel are your real competition. Then run my Keyword Analyzer tool against those pages. See what words those pages have that yours does not. Also see how their density and usage of words which both pages have is different from yours.

...and you are done. If you followed the steps you now have a list of keywords with densities for you own page, a list of pages on competitors sites similar to yours, and a list of keywords with densities for those similar pages to compare to your own.
